Lake Elementaita -Nyahururu
Today you proceed towards Nayhururu to view the Thompson Falls, a scenic 74 m (243 ft) waterfall on the Ewaso Ng’iro river, named after fur trapper David Thompson. Upstream from the falls is one of the highest hippo pools in Kenya. Overnight in Nyahururu. (B, L, D)
Today you proceed by your safari van towards the Masai Mara National Reserve, be prepared for a bumpy ride. Before departing you are taken to the Giraffe Centre where you get an opportunity to get
up close and personal with the giraffes, as well as get a chance to feed them and also do a brief Orientation tour of this capital city. Enroute there is also a stop at the edge of the Great Rift Valley for a magnificent view of the valley and the two volcanoes.Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah & its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos.
